Biography:
Dr. Donaldson received his MD-PhD in 1995 from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, where he studied at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. Prior to spending three years as a psychiatry resident at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute, he completed a year of internal medicine training at the Juravinski Hospital.
Later, Dr. Donaldson relocated to Austin, Texas, for the remainder of his residency. Additionally, he was a research fellow at the Dell Medical School’s Center for Psychedelic Research & amp; Therapy, where his work advanced the use of psychedelics in the treatment of mental health conditions.
Currently, Dr. Donaldson serves on the board of the American Academy of Research on Psychedelics (AAP) and the Center for Neuroscience of Psychedelics (CNP), as a forerunner in the development of psychedelic healthcare and a leader in disseminating best practices to professionals in the fields of medicine and mental health.
